Recognition
Congratulations to Wayne Zimmer, PALS poultry sales, on receiving the Senior Sales Award from Chore-Time. It is their lifetime achievement award and is presented at their distributor meeting in Atlanta, GA during IPPE (International Production & Processing Expo) each year. Wayne has been involved with Chore-Time since he started with PALS 46 years ago. This year the ceremony was held at Mercedes Benz Stadium, home of the Atlanta Falcons. Attendees were able to be on the field and then attend a reception in one of their private banquet facilities at field level.
In addition to Wayne’s recognition, PALS also earned the gold status award this year for sales over $2.5M with Chore-Time on the poultry side. Congratulations to Wayne and PALS!

Heart Health Month
When Valentine’s Day rolls around, we’re often preoccupied with matters of the heart. February also happens to be American Heart Health month, making it a perfect time to highlight some steps to help prevent one of the most pervasive chronic conditions in the U.S. One of the tricky things about heart disease — which includes coronary heart disease, stroke and high blood pressure — is that it can be hard to detect. However, there are a number of ways you can stay on top of your heart health!
Know your numbers: preventive services are covered at 100% your company provide insurance. Schedule a visit with your doctor to discuss annual preventive services which include blood pressure and cholesterol checks to identify potential heart disease markers early
Own your lifestyle: it is up to you! Small lifestyle changes can lead to big strides – go for a brief walk every hour, stop using tobacco/take time to decompress from work everyday
Realize your risk: family history and gender can play a big role in your risk for heart disease. Ask your family/doctor and be informed on your risk.
Knowledge is power: choose heart healthy foods for yourself and family. Teach your family on the importance of activity and food
