March Update

In the past few weeks you’ve likely heard more and more about the Coronavirus (COVID-19).  While there is certainly cause for concern we want to remind you there are precautions you can take to help prevent the contraction or spread of germs and to stay healthy.

  • Good hand hygiene and regular washing of your hands is essential.
  • Try to avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or the inside of your elbow.
  • If you are not feeling well, especially if you have a fever or flu-like symptoms, stay home.

Let’s also remember that allergy season is approaching, so how do you tell the difference between the flu, allergies, the common cold, or Coronavirus (COVID-19)?  Here’s a chart from Business Insider that shows the common conditions of each.

Please be assured our respective leadership teams are monitoring the situation closely.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Coronavirus, please reach out to your local HR representative.

Employee Appreciation

National Employee Appreciation Day is held the first Friday in March.  Thank you to each and every one of you for the commitment you have shown, the knowledge and expertise you bring to your roles, and your dedication to the company to which you belong.   You are appreciated!!

The Select Genetics HR staff treated employees to donuts and bagels to celebrate and recognize the hard work of their employees.

Celebrations

Congratulations to Robin Jenkins (pictured below 3rd from left) who recently retired after 34 years of service with the Select Genetics Missouri Logistics department!  Thank you for your commitment to the organization.  Wishing you all the best with your new adventures!
