NTC reaches 1 Billion Birds

Recently, Nova-Tech China achieved a very exciting milestone. In 2011, Nova-Tech Engineering set out on a business venture to answer the growing demand for Nova-Tech’s solutions in the world’s largest poultry market. At that time, Nova-Tech Engineering in the US was celebrating its first year to process over one billion birds annually. Since establishment, Nova-Tech’s innovation has changed China’s layer industry and the vision of feeding the world has been realized in a country with the highest population in the world, thanks to the customer-centered focus and passion of the team. Today, just 10 years after establishing Nova-Tech China as a company, they celebrated 2022 as the first year for Nova-Tech China to process one billion birds annually within the China market!

Employee Recognition

Employee recognition can impact employee engagement, organizational culture and employee retention.  Recently two companies within our organization shared how they have started implementing ways to show positive recognition to their employees.  Do you or your teams have a way that you like to show positive recognition?  We’d love to highlight how your team acknowledges a job well done!

Turkey Valley Farms recently purchased new TVs for their breakrooms that allows them to share information with their employees.  They have started announcing new hires, Years of Service recognition, prize winners, safety information, important messages and more!  This has been a great tool for them to communicate information to their employees and provide recognition. Below is an example, thank you for sharing!

Select Genetics | Osceola Hatchery started an Employee of the Month recognition in January.  The goal is the keep moral up, create excitement for the employees, and recognize employees in a special way.  The employee of the month will receive a fun monthly reward along with getting a reserved parking spot for the upcoming month.  Congratulations to Manuel Vasquez who was selected to receive the first Employee of the Month recognition!

Congratulations to Randy Vandergrift, Center Creek Farm Manager for Select Genetics Missouri!  Randy has been with the company since October 1987 and has been at CN Farm for 33 years.  Thank you Randy for your dedication to your employees and the company, enjoy your retirement!

PALS

Randy Young, Animal Health Sales Manager for PALS celebrated his retirement on Friday, January 27th after 10 years with the organization.  Jason Reed, General Manager for PALS stated, “Randy was here at the start when the Animal Health department needed a complete overhaul.  Randy was the driving force behind what the department has become.  There have been many obstacles over the last 10 years, and he was able to adapt and take the department in new directions which kept the company successful in this area.”  Congratulations Randy on your retirement!
