Allegiance Explanation of Benefits

What is an explanation of benefits (EOB)?  An explanation of benefits details claims that are submitted to Allegiance for coverage and how those claims have been processed (See Page 12-14 in the Welcome Kit for more details) Click below for ENGLISH or SPANISH to view the combined Welcome Kit and EOB Preference documents.

Please note:

Starting March 29^th, 2023, Allegiance changed to electronic distribution of Explanation of Benefits (EOB).  Employees who are registered on the Allegiance platform and have provided a current email address will no longer receive paper Explanation of Benefits.

If you would like to change your distribution method or update your preferred email, please follow the English instructions or Spanish instructions linked above.

Empower Retirement is the benefit provider for the Life-Science Innovations & Affiliates Retirement Plan account.  To review your manage and review your account you can access information via:

Adding an email address to your 401K profile can help protect your Life-Science Innovations and Affiliates Retirement Plan account. It’s the fastest, easiest way to receive important security notices, stay up-to-date about your account and discover ways to help enhance your savings.

Simply log-in to your account at empowermyretirement.com,  click on your initials in the upper right-hand corner, then click edit under personal contact information to add or update your email address.

Nova-Tech Engineering

Team Member, Myron Koenig, recently celebrated his retirement from Nova-Tech Engineering after 7 1/2 years Years of Service. Congratulations Myron enjoy your retirement!

Select Genetics

Congratulations to Joe Gold, MO Farm Manager, who recently retired from Select Genetics after 26 Years of service.  Pictured below with Robert Pankau (left), Manager, and Scott Nolan (middle), MO Division Manager.

PEAK

PEAK (formerly the Midwest Poultry Convention) was held April 11-13 in Minneapolis. PEAK is the largest trade show and convention in North America focused exclusively on the business and food production of poultry.  PALS, Nova-Tech Engineering and Select Genetics all participated in the show as exhibitors which gave them a chance to connect with current customers and network with other industry professionals.  Laura Orsten and Rachel Weiss, Talent Acquisition Specialists, also participated in the Student Careers Program which connected them with students who are interested in the poultry industry.
