Employee Appreciation

The Turkey Valley Farms team held an Employee Appreciation Day on Friday, June 30th to recognize the hard work of their team.  On the menu were burgers, potato salad, baked beans, chips and cake and a few fun door prizes were given away. They had a lot of fun…and food!

4th of July Parade

Several team members from the Select Genetics | Osceola Hatchery volunteered to walk and throw out candy at the 4th of July parade in Osceola along with the Select Genetics float. The group had a fun time representing the company in the parade!

Summit Time

Accounting Summit

The LSI Shared Services Accounting team hosted their 2nd annual Accounting Summit July 19th & 20th. Accounting team members from within our family of companies were invited to join the Summit to learn, network, collaborate and have fun!  Summit sessions included topics like D365, Excel, Financial Analysis, Critical Thinking and more.  Attendees outside of the accounting teams were also invited to participate in a Servant Leadership session on Monday.  The two days concluded with dinner and a magician, which was enjoyed by all who attended!

IT Summit

The LSI Shared Services IT Team held their Summit July 11th – 13th.  Like the Accounting Summit, IT team members from within our family of companies were invited to join the Summit, held on the MinnWest Campus in Willmar.  They had sessions that focused on Technology & the Poultry Industry, Cyber Security, Policies and more.  They also invited team members outside of the IT department to sessions like Power BI Overview, Easy Vista workshop, and the Art of Estimating.  The team also used this time when most of the team was in-person to work on their IT Roadmap & Priorities for the coming year.  It was a fun event that included an evening of badminton and a nice meal and some drone flying with the Business Systems team.
