Last week many of our Ag Sector employees attended the Midwest Poultry Convention in St. Paul, MN, an annual event filled with valuable poultry industry education (and an opportunity for our hard-working employees to network with fellow poultry people and have just a little fun). While we aren’t sure who all the employees are in this human pyramid, we are certain that no human turkeys were harmed in this photo!

Each year the Diamond Edge Figure Skating club puts on a Spring Ice Show for one of their fundraisers. This year’s theme was “Rewind- Spin it Again” featuring songs and some costumes from the past 15 years. There are approximately 60 skaters in the club from age 3 up to High School Seniors. A highlight in the show is the “Skating Dad’s” number. This year the dads skated to Back In Time from the movie Back to the Future. Some dressed in 80’s style vests and flannels, others were the 50’s in suits. The kids really enjoy seeing their dads out on the ice in the show. Scott Norling– LSI, Dustan Jones– AGW and Jamie Peters (Angie Peter’s, of FSE, Husband, ) were part of this year’s dad’s group showing us their best moves.

Turkey Recipes & Tips!
This weeks recipe is brought to you by Jeanna O’Neill (Employee Services Representative of LSI).
Turkey Meatballs
1 lb ground turkey
1 beaten egg
1/3 c Italian seasoned bread crumbs
Mix all together
Form into balls and put into pan that has a couple of Tbsp of oil on bottom
Bake at 350 for 20 or 30 mins turning meat when needed.
