This past weekend the MinnWest Technology Campus, in partnership with the United Way and Lakeland Broadcasting, hosted the fifth annual i3@MTC Youth Science Retreat. The i3@MTC Youth Science stands for “Inspire, Investigate, and Innovate at the MinnWest Technology Campus.” The retreat is geared towards kids from 3rd – 12th grade and hopes to expose students to Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) in the workplace. It includes over 20 different demonstrators utilizing robotics, video production, rockets, slime, explosions and candling eggs among others. Over 400 students attended last years event, this year’s estimate was roughly double that. Take a look at some of the photos taken this past weekend!

Turkey Recipes & Tips!
TVF Turkey Sausage Egg Bake
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. TVF Turkey Sausage
- 8-10 eggs
- ½ c milk
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- 1 T. Italian seasoning
- 1 ½ c croutons
- 1 c. shredded cheese of choice (I like Swiss the best!)
- Optional: Spinach, sliced mushrooms, diced onion
Directions:
Brown turkey sausage, set aside. Spray large baking dish with non-stick spray. Layer sausage, shredded cheese, optional veggies, and croutons in the pan. Scramble up the eggs, milk, and seasonings and pour on top. Bake at 350 degrees at least 30 minutes or until eggs are cooked through.
