Farewell Summer Interns

We were fortunate to provide opportunities this summer to a number of aspiring ‘next generations’ of our workforce.  We wish all of our summer interns the best of luck as they return to college life and continue their studies and ventures in life.  Thank you, Interns, for your time, efforts, and talents and we hope that some of you consider returning after you’ve learned all there is to know to conquer our world!  🙂

NTE  Interns

This summer Nova-Tech Engineering brought on five resources to assist them in a number of departments.  Pictured below from left to right: In Repair, Andrew Turbes, in Engineering, Jacob French (who returned a second time after his first internship!), and Chris Baker.  Not pictured include Zahia Farhat in Manufacturing, and Bart Kerfield in Business Information Systems.  Andrew will be attending Ridgewater College to pursue pre-engineering courses, Jacob is a senior at UMD majoring electrical engineering, and Chris is returning to Ridgewater College with future plans to major in mechanical engineering.   Zahia is returning to NDSU as a junior majoring in industrial engineering, and Bart returns to U of MN also as a junior majoring in computer science.  We wish all of you well!nte_interns_image

Our Veterinarian group welcomed Michaela Olson, Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary student at the U of MN, to assist with a research project and gain exposure to the real lives of poultry Vets.  Michaela was referred to us through the Midwest Poultry Consortium’s Center of Excellence Internship Program, where she attended courses specifically related to poultry science and the business of turkeys. We hope you’ve enjoyed the experience here and best wishes to you!

LSI InternLaura

Laura Norling spent the summer assisting the busy LSI accounting and admin department with several tasks and projects.  She will be attending Bethel University as a freshman with plans to major in business management and minor in marketing (or perhaps Spanish?!).  Best of luck to you, Laura!
