Annual Training & Awards Banquet
The Select Genetics North Breeders held their annual training and awards banquet on Friday, December 16th which included breakout sessions to discuss biosecurity plans after a tough year this past year with HPAI. Safety awards and farm performance awards were awarded to conclude the banquet.
Collaborating Through Conflict
Team Members from Nova-Tech Engineering recently took part in a two-part Collaborating through Conflict training offered by LSI Shared Services. This is a new class that began in April of 2022. Attendees learn about their conflict management style and how to best interact with others based on their style. Team members from NTE who took part in this class are from left to right are: Chris Rueckert, Jacob Swanson, Dalton Blumhoefer, Jonathan Rusten, Fredy Guevara, Amy Evans, Rebekah Cleary, Kathy Setrum, and Diana Mottinger.
Holiday Festivities
PALS
PALS held their Annual Employee Holiday Potluck on December 14th. The employees enjoyed a smorgasbord of food!
Life-Science Innovations
LSI employees participated in some fun and games last Friday, December 16th for the holidays with a nice lunch followed by Christmas Bingo! Following the lunch a few team members decided it would be a great idea to wear off their lunch with a round of pickleball!
Turkey Valley Farms
The TVF plant recently provided a holiday lunch for their employees with food catered from Heglund Catering.
Christmas Party
Employees from Nova-Tech Engineering, Life-Science Innovations, PALS, Farm Service Elevator and Willmar Poultry Farms enjoyed a trip to the Ordway Theatre on Saturday, December 10th to see Beauty & the Beast! The weather cooperated and everyone had a great time! Unfortunately, the group attending the following week wasn’t as lucky as the entire cast of the Ordway was sick and the show for December 17th was cancelled about an hour before the show was to start.
