Company Happenings
D365 Go-Live
🚀 We’re Live! 🎉
After months of planning, collaboration, and dedication, we’re thrilled to announce the successful go-live of 10 additional affiliated companies on our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations platform — more than doubling the number of affiliated companies in our system!
This expansion of our ERP system marks a significant step forward in our digital transformation journey, enabling us to:
✅ Scale our financial operations across a broader organizational footprint
✅ Standardize processes and reporting across all entities
✅ Improve visibility and control in a unified ERP environment
✅ Support future growth with a scalable, cloud-based platform
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in this complex, large scale implementation, most especially to the D365 project team members: Ashley Thole, Kirk Vander Pol, Saúl Cuevas, Randy Marcus, Matthew Stacks and Amanda Harris for making this complex rollout a success. Your expertise, collaboration, communication, steadfast dedication and unwavering commitment to excellence and servant leadership were key components in this remarkably smooth Go Live.
We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished — and even more excited for what’s ahead.

2025 Shrimp Summit
In June, the ShrimpWorks team had the opportunity to present the platform during an innovation session at the Center for Responsible Seafood’s 2025 Shrimp Summit. Speakers were challenged to use the PechaKucha-style where they had 20 slides, and the slides auto-advanced every 20 seconds. Emily Field presented and won third place in the competition, and both she and Michael Lambert generated a lot of buzz around the system.
Rockin’ Robbins
MinnWest Technology Campus and Nova-Tech Engineering had an amazing evening as the Presenting Sponsor for Good for Gary during Duo Headliner night at Rockin’ Robbins on Tuesday, July 22. We enjoyed the wonderful music and had a great time connecting with so many people! Thanks to everyone who attended and stopped by our booth to say “Hi!”
Turkey Lover’s Month
Did you know that Minnesota is the #1 turkey-producing state in the U.S., raising over 40 million turkeys each year? That’s something to be proud of! Turkey Lover’s Month was celebrated in June, a time to celebrate the hardworking farmers, delicious recipes, and fun facts that make turkey a staple on our tables year-round.
Here are a few fun turkey tidbits to share:
- A baby turkey is called a poult, a male is a tom, and a female is a hen.
- The most common breed we eat today is the Broad Breasted White.
- Turkeys are raised in climate-controlled barns that keep them safe, healthy, and comfortable all year long.
- All turkeys in the U.S. are raised without added hormones or steroids and are fed a balanced diet of Minnesota-grown corn and soybeans
- Turkey Valley Farms provides all of the turkey roasts to the Minnesota State Fair for the Turkey to Go booth.
Want to learn more or find turkey recipes to try this summer? Check out the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association for more fun facts and resources.
Let’s give a big thanks to our local turkey farmers for keeping our plates full and our hearts happy!
