The Mighty Spark team visited the MinnWest Campus the beginning of November for some training. While they were in Willmar they took the opportunity to sit down briefly with Ted Huisinga to hear some of his thoughts. They also had lunch (made with Mighty Spark product) with the Life-Science Innovations team and were able to meet face-to-face with people they have only had contact with via email or phone.

On October 15, 2018, Turkey Valley Farms employee, Edgar Villeda, received his U.S. Citizenship. He was accompanied by his daughter Stephanie. Congratulations Edgar on this hard earned accomplishment!
Field Day
The Select Genetics Osceola Hatchery recently participated in the local 3rd Grade Field Day sponsored by the Clarke County Farm Bureau. The event is an opportunity to introduce the youth to different aspects of agriculture and to help them understand the importance of agriculture in our lives. Employees Jaime Shaw, Greg Perry, Karen Morris and Michael Lindquist presented to the 3rd graders by giving them a hands-on glimpse from egg to poult. Students also got to check out the inside of a poult truck.

Team Building
The Manufacturing Leadership Team from Nova-Tech Engineering recently tried out a local Escape room. To complete the challenge and escape the room before time ran out they needed to work together as a team, utilizing the Nova-Tech values of communication, agility, and innovation.
