Peculiar Happenings in February

Hi everyone,

Our LSI & Affiliated Companies’ Annual Christmas Party finally arrived last weekend! For those of you not able to make it, the “Hello Dolly!” production was really well done (despite the controversially awkward silver spandex marching band costumes…). They even altered their script just for us, in one of the last acts, from serving a whole chicken to a whole turkey! I had personally never been to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater before and I thought it was great! I highly recommend it for those who have never been. On the bus ride back to Campus I decided to take a snooze and woke up to snickering around me, only to find out one of my archnemeses had snapped a blackmail picture! I probably had it coming. I completely forgot to take any pictures during the trip myself, but I scrounged up a few images below:

Another highlight of the Christmas Party was during a particular scene in the production, the main character, Dolly, went around the audience as if she was being welcomed back and planted a few smooches on some choice foreheads. Ernst Van Gulijk, an Industry Specialist in Sales & Marketing from NTE, happened to be one of the lucky chosen! Below is a photograph of the aftermath. Ernie commented, “First time in my life where being bald has paid off!”

There have been some other peculiar happenings going on as of late. Recently, when PALS’s Supply Chain Manager Randy Young and PALS’s General Manager Jason Reed were out of town their co-workers decided to pull a fast one on them. Randy’s office was packed with balloons and his personal effects covered in saran wrap. Jason’s mouse was sabotaged and his chair was graciously sprayed with foam insulation. See images below:

Another peculiar incident I recently discovered was in the LSI Information Technology home base. Ryan Lindgren, LSI’s IT Network Manager, after experiencing a couple days of serious server issues, decided to boost moral of his team by buying each of them a rubber chicken. See for yourself…

Yet another interesting sight was an increasing amount of turkey paraphernalia I have been noticing around 1800 Technology Drive. Barbara Moreno of Employee Services is shown here beautifully displaying one of the turkey artifacts that have been seen around LSI IT and Employee Services.
