Fall Harvest at FSE

Fall Harvest is gearing up at Farm Service Elevator!  We estimate that we will take in somewhere between 2-2.5 million bushels of corn during our harvest season in October-November.  This will fill our two storage sheds and the west bunker.  We also contract with farmers to deliver roughly 4 million additional bushels of corn throughout the year after harvest.  A few fun facts to put things in perspective…

• The average grain semi holds 950 bushels.  Corn gets delivered in a variety of sized vehicles, including grain wagons pulled by trucks or farm tractors.
• A bushel of corn weighs 56 pounds.  One load weights 53,200 pounds or 26.6 tons.  A full load of corn weighs about the same as the average fire truck or snow plow.
• To get 2.5 million bushels delivered to FSE it will take approximately 2,632 trucks.
• The average grain semi is 60′ long.  If we were to stretch all 2,632 trucks head to tail, the line would be 157,920 feet or the equivalent to 480 professional football fields.
• It takes an average of 15 minutes to unload each truck.  We can hold about 260,000 bushels while it waits to go through the grain dryer.  It takes about 1-1.5 hours to dry a load of corn down to 15% moisture.
• On a busy day during harvest we will average 120-150 trucks delivering corn.

Company Happenings

There was SO much going on around the organization this past month!  It appears everyone is attempting to get as much grilling and outdoor activities in as possible before the weather changes!  Thank you to everyone for sending in your pictures and events, it’s great to see all that is happening within each company.

LSI Shared Services

LSI Shared Services hosted Chamber Connection on Friday, September 23rd.  Chamber Connections are held at a different business each week and are an opportunity to highlight the host business and services they provide.  There was a good turnout and it was a nice chance for employees to network with other business people in the Willmar Lakes Area.

Nova-Tech Engineering

The end of September Nova-Tech Engineering gathered as a company to celebrate their team and reconnect with their families.  Many of their Global Team Members located in Brazil, Columbia, India, France, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Turkey were also able to attend the picnic which was held during the Sales & Marketing Training Week.

HSA Authority is transitioning to UMB Health Care

If you are part of our company health plan and contribute to an HSA account you should have recently received notification that the HSA Authority is being acquired by UMB Health Care.  Effective, November 18, 2022, Old National Bank’s health savings account program, The HSA Authority, will become part of UMB Healthcare Services, a division of UMB Bank, n.a. (“UMB”), one of the nation’s largest custodians of health savings accounts (HSAs) and provider of healthcare payment solutions.

Key dates you should be aware of regarding the transition from HSA Authority to UMB Health Care:

• November 4, 2022
  • Last day to request your Old National HSA be closed or transferred to another HSA custodian.
• November 8, 2022, 3:00pm CT
  • Last day to make changes to your existing HSA investments.
• November 13, 2022
  • Last day to use your Old National Bank Health Savings Account Mastercard debit card.
  • All debit cards associated with your Old National HSA will be closed effective November 14, 2022.
• Week of November 14, 2022
  • You will begin receiving your UMB Welcome Letter, including your UMB HSA account number and instructions to enroll in online banking.
  • You will begin receiving your UMB Health Savings VISA Debit Card.
• November 18, 2022
  • Old National Bank resigns as HSA custodian and appoints UMB Bank as the new custodian of your HSA.  The terms of your Old National HSA are fully replaced by the terms of your UMB HSA.
  • As necessary, update stored HSA account information to reflect the information associated with your new UMB HSA, including your new HSA account number, routing number, and new HSA debit card information.
• November 21, 2022
  • You may begin using your new UMB HSA debit card.

WellVia’s Brand is Becoming Recuro!

Here’s what you need to know:

WellVia is making an exciting brand transition to Recuro! The existing app will be retired in November, and all current users will be required to download and sign into the Recuro Care app to continue receiving services. Rest assured:

• There will be no changes to your available services and benefits
• Your login, profile, and medical records will remain the same
• The Recuro Care app is the same app you know and love, just with a new ‘look and feel’
• It’s quick and easy to begin using the new app

When will this happen?

  

Note: in addition to the new mobile app, you’ll see a notice on the prior website (member.wellviasolutions.com) directing you to the new website (member.recurohealth.com). You’ll also notice that when you speak with doctors and Member Services agents, they’ll begin referring to Recuro instead of WellVia.

Download the new app:

The easiest way to download the new app is to enter the WellVia app beginning on November 1^st, and click the new button that says “Download the Recuro Care app.” This will take you to the app store directly. Alternatively, you can complete the steps below:

1. Go to the app store (iOS or Android) and search for “Recuro Care”
2. Download the app. When ready, open the app and enter the email address associated with your existing WellVia account.
3. Click “Go to Login,” and then enter your password to sign in. You can always click to reset your password if you can’t remember it.
4. Confirm your existing account information and begin using services!
