Employee Appreciation

National Employee Appreciation Day was celebrated on Friday, March 3rd by several locations.  This day is recognized the first Friday in March to celebrate one of a company’s greatest assets…the employees & team members!  If you missed observing Employee Appreciation Day that doesn’t mean you need to wait another year before recognizing the hard work of the team or your co-workers.  Handwritten thank you notes, team celebrations, and directly telling someone you appreciate them and the work they do are all great ways to recognize team members and co-workers throughout the year.  Below are some photos from the Select Genetics Iowa and Missouri recognition.

Nova-Tech

ShrimpWorks by Nova-Tech Engineering was at Seafood Expo North America/Seafood Processing North America in Boston, Massachusetts March 12 – 14. The team enjoyed connecting with aquaculture professionals and colleagues during the expo. They also had the opportunity to meet Amanda Harris, from LSI.

UKG

This week marks Week 3 of processing payroll in the new UKG Pro system!  A huge shout out to the UKG Implementation Team for all of the hard work, time and dedication they put into this project and continue to do!  The team has been diligently working to ensure information has transferred correctly and that managers, employees, and team members have access to the information they need.  A couple things to keep in mind:

Direct deposit slips

If you are enrolled in direct deposit, you will no longer receive a physical direct deposit stub.  To access your pay information this can now be done in UKG Pro.  Click the link below for an explanation on how to access UKG Employee Self Service and your current pay statement.

Review your paycheck

With the transition to UKG Pro the team has been working hard to ensure all information transferred properly.  Similar to the start of a new year, now would be a good time to review your paychecks.  Verify the benefits you elected during open enrollment in November have been applied and the deductions are correct.  If you notice something that seems different than normal, please email payroll@lsius.net or call (320) 222-9515 with questions.
