March Update

As an organization heavily involved in the turkey industry it only seems appropriate to recognize National Poultry Day!  See below for some fun facts pulled from Minnesota Turkey. Top turkey producing states according to the National Turkey Federation are Minnesota, North Carolina, Arkansas, Indiana, Missouri, Virginia, Iowa and Pennsylvania.

ShrimpWorks

The ShrimpWorks Team at Nova-Tech Engineering recently attended the Seafood Processing Expo in Boston. It was a busy show reconnecting with previous attendees and making new connections with prospective customers.

The show coincided with the launch of ShrimpWorks.com. The goal of this newly added page to nteglobal.com is to build a greater presence within the Shrimp industry. This site aims to not only showcase our revolutionary all-in-one ShrimpWorks product but to also highlight to future shrimp customers that Nova-Tech Engineering has decades of experience in engineering and manufacturing quality products.

Below are snapshots from several locations:

Employee Engagement Surveys

Every other year, employees of Select Genetics can participate in the Employee Engagement Survey.  While employees are always encouraged to provide insight on how work can be accomplished more efficiently, safely, and in a work culture that promotes a team atmosphere, the Employee Engagement Survey is a more formal way to provide insight and feedback.

The information gathered is confidential, and the results are shared with staff, supervisors and company leaders to provide information on what is going well with our company and what areas we can improve to make the work culture / atmosphere a better place to work.  This is where the Servant Leadership approach to daily operations is developed and maintained to make Select Genetics the employer of choice.

We understand this is a work in progress; our goal is to continuously improve the working culture through Employee Engagement surveys, open communication, education, and encouraging staff participation in the process.
