Mitch Schueler Going Away

On April 5th Epitopix had a Deployment party for Commander Mitchell E. Schueler (Director of Manufacturing at EPI), who will be serving in Dijibouti, Africa for the next 7 months w/ the Navy. Mitch flew out Sunday April 23rd to Norfolk, Virginia for his training and then on to Djibouti – East Aftrica, the Horn of Africa. Fair Winds and God Bless you Mitch!

New Babies

Congratulations Dylan Kalkbrenner (Machinist at Nova-Tech Engineering) and his wife Angie on the birth of their daughter Dazy June Kalkbrenner. Born: April 3rd @ 3:43am, weighed: 7 lbs 10 1/2 oz. 19 1/2 inches long. Dazy is welcomed home by her big brothers Ely and Quin.

Congratulations Randy (Product Owner for the Engineering R&D at Nova-Tech Engineering) and Michelle Rohloff on the birth of their daughter Ryann Paige Rohloff. Born: April 11th @ 10:04, weighed: 5 lbs 9.6 oz. 18 inches long.

Welcome Angela Koosman to Nova-Tech Engineering Recruitment and to the Life-Science Innovations HR Team!

I am thrilled to share a little more about Angela ‘Angie’ Koosman, who started with our organization at the end of February this year, focused on serving Nova-Tech Engineering in the role of HR Strategic Business Partner.  Given the continued growth in their overall business and hiring needs, Angie is NTE’s full-time resource with a variety of HR responsibilities, including the recruitment and hiring process.  She has already taken the lead on the current openings within the Engineering and Manufacturing Departments; however, we are working collaboratively on the recruitment process for all open positions at NTE.  When in doubt, please refer to the job posting contact listed online, or don’t hesitate to contact either one of us when you have a referral for an opening here.  Thank you for your patience during this transition and please help me welcome Angie to the team!

The Koosman Family:  Yes, the Crazy Christmas Celebrate the Light Display!

Some of you might recognize Angie’s name if you’ve ever experienced the spectacular annual Christmas holiday light show, Celebrate the Light event in Willmar, which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the local Salvation Army. (If you have never been to it, I highly recommend!)  Angie, her husband Chad, and two daughters Sophia and Ariel share their love of the holiday and the amazing display with their families and the greater community.

A Little More About Angie…

She received her BA degree from Augusta College in December of 2003, majoring in Psychology and Business/Communications.  Her career began in retail management where she had various leadership positions for two different electronics retailers until 2007 before starting her career in a dedicated Human Resources Manager position.  Angela started working for a home improvement retailer as a Store Human Resources Manager, then took on a new role with the company as a Regional Recruiter and finally held the position as an Area Human Resources Manager.  In 2010, Angela moved from the Minneapolis, MN area to Willmar, MN and started working for a manufacturing company managing Human Resources, Manufacturing, Accounting and Safety.  Angie is also active in Willmar Area Business Professional Women and The Willmar Salvation Army as a volunteer.  In 2015 Angela and her husband received the Willmar Area Chamber of Commerce Emerging Young Leader Award and the Salvation Army OTHERS award for their contributions to the community through volunteerism.  She currently resides outside of Willmar with her husband Chad and two daughters Sophia (Age 3) and Ariel (Almost 1).  Her passion is helping others achieve their goals both personally and professionally.  She is looking forward to building strong relationships and supporting the NTE employees and organization.
