Annual Fiscal Year Kick Off and Training Week

For the past two weeks, Nova-Tech Engineering had their global team members in-house to get energized for the 2024 Fiscal Year and hold their annual training meetings. Team members from 10 different countries including Brazil, Colombia, France, India, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia, and Turkey, plus their domestic-based teams in Customer Service and Sales & Marketing, came together for a week full of learning and team building.

International Poultry Welfare Alliance

Nova-Tech Engineering has played a pivotal role in the formation of the International Poultry Welfare Alliance, which is an organization that serves as an independent global resource on poultry welfare. Andrew Gomer, Business Development Manager, was a foundational member in creating IPWA and served as chair of the group and Emily Field, Marketing Specialist, is a current committee chair. October 5^th was the annual meeting, held in Chicago, that brings together key stakeholders through the poultry industry to meet and discuss topics that focus on scientific and data-driven action items around welfare.

Global Shrimp Forum

Members of the Nova-Tech Business Development team recently attended the second annual Global Shrimp Forum (GSF) in Utrecht, Netherlands.  The GSF is a three-day seminar dedicated to the shrimp industry, attracting 500 high level industry executives representing, farmers, technology suppliers, processors, and retailers.  This unique networking opportunity yielded great market development results as contacts were made with new shrimp processors interested in ShrimpWorks’ processing technology.
