I think most of us in Minnesota are getting pretty sick of winter. We’re ready to start planting gardens and working in our flower beds, mowing lawns and grilling outdoors. Hopefully those of you in other states have been enjoying some spring weather. While we can’t control mother nature we can control our attitudes. Let’s try to stay positive and remember spring will come…eventually. To give you a taste of the spring fever that has been hitting Minnesotans check out the video below, taken on Tuesday at a golf course about 1 hour west of Willmar.
Beginning mid-April, Man Cave LLC will introduce a new brand of remarkable, small-batch meats, Mighty Spark Food Co. All existing Man Cave Craft Eats products will re-brand to Mighty Spark Food Co., with the new brand hitting store shelves mid-to-late April. The company will remain Man Cave LLC.
With the launch of the new brand, we’ll continue to craft remarkable food that does good, one meal at a time. Mighty Spark products are uncompromising on flavor, and for each package purchased, we provide a meal to a child in need, with more than 1 million meals donated to date and millions more on the horizon through our Bite Back program.

Urgent Care vs. Emergency Room
Wondering when you should seek health services through an Urgent Care Center vs. Hospital Emergency Room?
Urgent Care centers provide many of the same services as an emergency room, however both their pricing schedules and wait times are much less. Urgent care clinics help fill a vital gap when you become sick or injured, but your regular doctor is not available and you can’t wait for an appointment. Urgent care services typically cover the treatment of allergies, asthma, sprains, burns, cold and flu symptoms, ear, sinus and respiratory infections, insect and animal bites, stomach viruses, skin rashes and most other non-life threatening injuries, illnesses and conditions. Additionally common health assessments are typical service offerings including annual and school physicals. urgent care clinics are typically open specific hours of the day and may be more accessible than an emergency room.
Hospital emergency departments provide medical care at any time, day or night. However, unlike urgent care centers, they are equipped and staffed for even the most complex or critical needs, including life- and limb-threatening situations ranging from heart attack and stroke to traumatic injuries following a car accident. Some services that require an emergency room include services for major trauma or accidents, loss of consciousness, heart attack or chest pain, and uncontrollable bleeding. Since an emergency room provides higher levels of care, the cost is also much higher compared to an urgent care clinic.
During a medical emergency, when you believe your or someone else’s life or limb is threatened in such a manner that immediate medical care is needed to prevent death or serious impairment of health, call 9-1-1. A medical emergency includes severe pain, bad injury, a serious illness, or a medical condition that is quickly getting much worse and needs immediate attention.
